In the world of business, many leaders are focused on profits. However, there is one top female business CEO who has also emphasized the importance of giving back. That leader, Pinnacle Group chairman and CEO Nina Vaca, has helped thousands of people by providing holiday meals across the North Texas area.
Around the country, there are millions of families who are food insecure. As someone who came from humble beginnings, Vaca has always kept an eye on people who are struggling to make ends meet. The Pinnacle Group leader is always looking for ways to help as many families as possible. This last holiday season, Vaca worked with local charities to distribute thousands of holiday meals. In all, 3,000 meals were distributed through the North Texas Food Bank.
Vaca and her associates at Pinnacle Group joined 100 high school and college students to help distribute the meals. Vaca mentioned in a blog post that “Pinnacle Group was built upon the tenet of servant leadership.” It is this focus on helping others that has also helped Vaca’s business thrive over the past several years.
As the chairman and CEO of Pinnacle Group, Vaca has emerged as one of the most powerful and influential women in business. In addition to her leadership role at Pinnacle Group, Vaca also serves on the board of three multi-billion-dollar companies. Though the years, Vaca has been recognized for her leadership by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council, the National Women’s History Project, and the Hispanic IT Executive Council.
